At the end of June, we signed an important sponsorship agreement with the Italian Federation for Fishing & Underwater Activities to aid and support the sports activities of both the National Team of Stream Trout Fishing and National Club of Stream Trout Fishing.
“The agreement reached with the Federation marks an important step and not just another confirmation - significant as it may be - of the positioning of our products. The agreement offers, above all, a stimulus for further research and better company organisation that stand at the centre of our production, a production, we recall, achieved over the years through our collaboration with champions the likes of Marino Poloniato, Gino Soffritti, Raffaele Gallo, Claudio Sartoris and Flavio Orlandi who are all members of the SA.GI.P. Techical Staff, and a production, we might add, that now enjoys the patronage of both the National Team and National Club with a range of products approved after strict testing and inspection that we offer to all fishermen who live an open challenge with themselves that they hope to win through the use of the best equipment and materials. In this context, the sponsorship extended to the National Club - which as you know is the team from which the members of the National Team are selected, and therefore the best of the best - assumes even greater significance. Above and beyond that, I would like to say that from now on, SA.GI.P. baits and lures will be used in all the National Club's events and competitions. For this reason, although the contract signed undoubtedly represents a sponsorship agreement, from this point of view it also amounts to a collaboration agreement because the experience of the National Club will most certainly prove precious in the further perfection of our existing products and the development of new baits and lures soon to be available in the market through the most qualified retailers."
